Hi. I’m Paul.
Since 2003 I’ve been DJing for bars, nightclubs and private parties of all kinds. I’m not a typical cheesy DJ and I prefer to let the music do the talking, but with a huge music collection that I’ve built up over the years I can keep the dance floor full.

Frequently asked questions…
How much do you charge?
My base price is £250 for the standard DJ service. Added extras include Karaoke, event photography and additional lighting or sound equipment, such as UV party lighting or my upgraded nightclub-standard sound system.
There may be an extra cost for venues with no parking or events more than 20 miles from Bury (North Manchester). Just give me a call on 07834 377 580 if you have any questions.
What kind of DJ are you?
That’s a good question and you should ask any DJ you are considering hiring because you need a DJ who fits in with your personality and the type of event you want to have. At one end of the DJ scale you have “entertainer” type DJs whose main tool is the microphone – telling people to get up and dance and cracking jokes. At the other end you have the “serious” DJs who are all about the music – sometimes a little too much – with their main focus being flawless mixing of tracks, and avoiding cheesy music or any microphone work.
I’m broadly in the middle of this scale, but more towards the latter end. I don’t generally speak on the microphone except for announcements and other important bits (but if you ask me for Karaoke then of course I’ll make sure people know about it and shout them over when it’s their turn). I’m happy to play requests from your guests that fit within the type of music that you’ve asked me to play (if you’re happy for me to do that) and I don’t shy away from any single genre of music – but unless you specifically ask for it there’s no chance I’d play any of the well known and mostly hated ultra-cheesy songs (Birdie Song, Agadoo, etc).
What equipment do you use?
The minimum setup I provide includes a modern 1200w speaker system and bright, colourful LED lighting. If you have a specific colour theme I can set my lighting to fit in with it. For music playback I use a laptop-based system and I have a backup kit in case of any issues. I have wireless microphones for speeches and announcements.
For an additional cost the sound system can be upgraded to a nightclub-standard system which is great for bass heavy music. Additional lighting is available, such as UV lighting, strobe and laser lighting (for rave events) or L.O.V.E. letters for wedding receptions.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance and PAT test certificates?
I have £10,000,000 of Public Liability Insurance cover and all equipment is PAT tested. Certificates for both are available on request.
